World AIDS Campaign with Children and Young People
Today, December 1st, is World Aids Day, and December is Aids Awareness Month.
Please take some time to visit the Centers For Disease Control for more information about this silent killer. I am in no way affiliation with the Center, however, my interest in this matter is very personal. My family has lost a very special young man to this horrible disease nearly five years ago. We need to become educated, to educate our childern in order to take a stand to stamp out this killer.
Take some time this month to refresh things that you may have already known, or educate yourself on things that you may have been putting off.
My Site, uglygurl.tripod.com, will be back up after the month. It is my hopes that anyone that will visit uglygurl, will remember that there are other issues that we need to address as well, and they will take the time to visit these sites.
